2021-2023
The Lay’s AR Experience, which ran from 2021 to 2023, invited Toronto Maple Leafs fans to interact with Lay’s chip bags through their mobile devices. By scanning the Lay’s logo, fans activated an augmented reality animation featuring 3D chips flying off the bag, revealing a hidden button. Tapping the button gave users a chance to win prizes.
The campaign was refreshed each year with new themes and visuals aligned to current events and ran across three NHL seasons. With over 11,000 views, it delivered strong results for a social campaign and offered fans a unique, engaging experience that brought the Lay’s brand to life.
